Best Jojolemon Pickleball Paddles

I am always on the hunt to find the next best pickleball paddle under $100, so I have been really excited to try out the Jojolemon pickleball paddles line up. I wanted to find the best Jojolemon paddle, so I tested 3 of their cornerstone paddles to provide you which one I thought was best.

Let’s start with the unboxing experience, which came with a nice surprise.

Unboxing Experience

Regardless of which Jojolemon pickleball paddle you choose, you will find a fun, unboxing experience with a unique surprise.

The paddle cover is under the paddle! I never saw anything like this, but it’s fun to see how they wrapped up the paddle.

In addition to the paddle and a cover, you also receive a carbon erasor and an overgrip, which I appreciate.

One of the best things you get is the warranty. As you can see, you will see a warranty extension that allows a 60-day refund for any reason and a 2 year limited warranty extension upon registration. Thankfully the brand also provides what is entailed in the limited warranting.

In my opinion, these types of unique customer first minded features may be one of the reason that Jojolemon paddles have such high Amazon ratings. Here’s all 3 pickleball paddles next to each other.

That said, let’s look at which was the best Jojolemon pickleball paddle and how well the paddles played.

Best Overall

The Shark 002 pickleball paddle is best described as a balanced, beginner-to-intermediate friendly paddle that focuses on easy control with accessible power. This paddle felt stiffer than the other 2 Jojolemon paddles, but quite powerful.

From the first rally, the paddle feels forgiving. The sweet spot is generous, which helps keep balls in play even on slight mishits. That makes it a good option for players who are still refining consistency or don’t want a paddle that feels too “jumpy.”

Control & Touch

Control is where the Shark 002 really shines. Dinks feel predictable, drops are easier to manage, and you don’t have to fight the paddle at the kitchen. It’s not overly soft, but it gives enough feedback so you can trust placement rather than swing harder.

Power

Power is moderate and easy to access, not explosive. You’ll get enough pop for serves and groundstrokes without the ball flying long. This is ideal if you value consistency over raw power or tend to overhit with power paddles.

Spin

Spin is solid but not elite. You can shape shots, add topspin, and hit controlled slices, but spin-heavy players who rely on aggressive roll shots may want something more textured or advanced.

Comfort & Feel

The Shark 002 has a comfortable, stable feel with minimal vibration, making it friendly for longer play sessions. It won’t feel harsh on off-center hits, which is helpful for newer players and those with arm sensitivity. I’m wondering if this paddle may rank in the best pickleball paddles under $100 soon.

Second Place

The JoJoLemon Shark 100 is a pro-level-feeling paddle that blends spin, control, and power in a way that appeals to intermediate players and rising competitors. It’s built to feel fast, responsive, and versatile whether you’re rallying at the kitchen line or attacking from the baseline.

The first game I played with the Shark paddle I won 11-3. The paddle was incredible for drips, drop and I had ample spin, so let’s get into the weeds.

Control & Precision

The Shark 100 offers very good control thanks to its carbon fiber face and thoughtful balance. You can place dinks, volleys, and resets with confidence — it doesn’t feel jumpy or unpredictable. This makes it a great paddle if you value precision over brute force.

Power & Pop

Power is a strong point here — but in a controlled, usable way. The extended handle and 16 mm carbon core help players generate real pop on drives and serves without having to swing wildly. It’s not a beginner’s paddle, but players who want solid pace without sacrificing control will like it.

Spin Potential

Spin is above average thanks to the textured 3K carbon surface. You can shape shots well, add topspin on serves, and really bite into the ball on slashes. That makes it fun for players who like to dictate points and mix up pace.

Comfort & Feel

The Shark 100 feels lightweight and maneuverable on swings, making quick exchanges and net play feel smoother. The grip is secure and comfortable, and the paddle absorbs vibration nicely so long rallies don’t feel harsh on your arm.

Third Place

The JoJoLemon Shark 001 is a well-rounded pickleball paddle that blends control, spin, and dependable power, making it a popular choice for beginners and intermediate players who want a versatile paddle that performs across all parts of the court.

I started my first game with this paddle and esaily won the game 11-5. I thought that power was fine, but I would argue that the Shark 100 had slightly more power.

Control & Precision

Control is one of the standout features of the Shark 001. The paddle’s design offers predictable dinks and soft game-play feel, which helps players place shots accurately without overhitting. Players often note that resets at the kitchen feel comfortable and intuitive.

Power & Pop

This paddle delivers good power without needing big swings. It isn’t designed for pro-level explosive shots, but it gives enough pop for solid serves and drives, especially compared to basic beginner paddles.

Spin Potential

Thanks to its carbon fiber surface and Teflon coating, the Shark 001 makes spin easier to generate than cheaper paddles. Topspin and slice shots bite the ball well, helping players shape points and control rallies.

Feel & Comfort

The paddle is lightweight (about 8.0 oz) and has a comfortable grip. It absorbs vibration nicely, which makes longer matches feel easier on the arm and helps with touch shots. Some players do add an over-grip for extra tackiness.

Finally, here’s a comparison of 2 paddles in terms of Power, Control and Spin.
