I own around 50-60 pickleball paddles, and many of them are really cheap paddles, so I tested a bunch of different paddles and comprised this list of the best value pickleball paddles.
Most of these paddles can be found on Amazon as I believe Amazon has better cheap and value pickleball paddles over Target and Walmart.
1. Best Value Pickleball Paddle Under $50
I own around 25 cheap paddles, and none of them provided the control I needed. I would have no accuracy, and lose games. I got so fed up that I knew I needed some thing like the Doctor pickleball surgical control paddle that has an impressive 20mm that provided ultimate control.
In fact, I am still undefeated with this paddle after many games.
If you have more money to spend, I would say that the Doctor surgical control pickleball paddle provides the best control cheap paddle for your money. The Doctor Pickleball paddle is currently one of the best beginner pickleball paddle in 2025.
I competed the doctor pickleball paddle against my 2 other paddles that were the best value paddles at the time, and I was able to win with the doctor pickleball paddle against my opponent, while I lost the next 2 games with my other paddles.
Unfortunately, this paddle may be difficult to come by at the moment, so you may have to join the waitlist on the website.
Please note though this is a 20mm control paddle, so the paddle is slightly heavier and may be better for those who have medium to large hands.
That said, I 100% loved the paddle and am excited to see what comes next.
If you are into pink pickleball paddles, you may also be able to get a pink custom rim to put around this paddle.
2. Runner Up Overall Value Paddle: YOURUN Carbon Fiber Pickleball Paddle
This paddle was incredible hard to find by just Amazon searching, but once I found it, I purchased 5 of these paddles and have been giving them to my kids for their birthday. The paddle is the YouRun Carbon Fiber pickleball paddle, and this paddle often gets sold out, and I honestly do not know how this brand makes money with a carbon fiber paddle under $20.
In addition, I looked again and this paddle actually comes with two paddles, balls and a bag, which is insane. The paddle also has grit that will allow you to spin and control the pickleball ball better than if the paddle does not have grip.
The unfortunate thing is that these paddles often SELL OUT on Amazon, so I added a couple of links to check if you are not able to get the paddle from the first link.

3. Best Cheap Pickleball Paddle Under $10: Leuring or Famingball
Check out the Leuring paddle as it’s currently under $10 or this Famingball paddle set for under $10 The design color is fun, and often there’s a 50% discount on this paddle.
That means you get a carbon fiber paddle for around $5-7 with fast shipping. The paddle is fine, and I would still take this paddle over a wood paddle anyday.
I would still get the YOURUN Pickleball Paddle every time because the paddle has grit to control and spin the ball, and it comes with a cover and a carbon fiber erasor.
But, if you only have $5-7, this paddle is an excellent choice.

What I’ve learned from playing pickleball is that you can get a great cheap, value pickleball paddle that can help your game.
