Courtney, Milligan, and I wanted to record this quick video from our temporary Queenstown cabin to wish everyone a safe and happy holiday season!
It’s Christmas morning for us and due to the magic of timezones hopefully it’s Christmas day for you as you are watching it! 🙂
Note: It’s actually Wakatipu Lake (not Waitipu) and we will will of course be on the South Island (not Queensland)! I’m so silly!
Merry Christmas from our family to yours!
Great view, wow!
Just a new follower of your site and journey. Happy Holidays to you and your family!
Cheers,
Adrian
Hope you guys had a wonderful Christmas, that view is beautiful! Milli is so darling too. 🙂
How awesome! I hope you all are making many lasting memories! I am so proud of you two as a couple to take on the challenge of venturing abroad like you are doing. You are two of a kind with the “we can do” attitude that will carry you very far in life. I love and miss you dearly, but patiently await your return home.
I can’t believe how old Milli looks. No offense, but I think I miss Milli more than you two. Good video. Have fun and be safe in the rest of the travels.
Amazing view – Every time I come by here I get jealous that I’m not out there traveling the world like Baker. Merry (belated) Christmas to you guys – hope it was a great day!
Merry Christmas! We were reminiscing with friends last night, and watching youtube videos of the Canyon Swing that we did on our honeymoon (while we stayed in Queenstown). Our friends started wondering what Christmas decorations look like in New Zealand. So many of our ornaments and lights are designed around snow and icicles, but it’s summer there, so do they have similar decorations? Or do they have sunny decorations and celebrate with barbeques and picnics like we do the 4th of July? I’d be interested to hear back from you and find out what the local decor looks like!

You guys come across as a great family and are very inspiring. I remember talking to you Man vs. Debt when Leo Babauta did a live stream once.
Hope you had a great Christmas! What an awesome view and experience for all of you.
