I saw a bankruptcy petition recently that had over 70 pages of documents. That’s a lot, but which ones are required? We are going to cover all that and more so let’s get started.
The Required Forms List
Filing bankruptcy consists of a lot of documents, and these documents can be stressful and cumbersome to put together.
As such, I am added a screenshot to Fresh Start Finance’s bankruptcy filing software portal as I appreciate how the product lays out which products you need to file and where you are in the process.
Here’s the documents needed at a minimum. Please note more may be required in certain situations. For example, if your household income is above the state’s median income, you may have to fill out form 122A-2. I also included the links to the forms to make it easier for you to access these documents. Finally, please note all of these have a B in front of the number, but I removed for simplicity.
