I’m proud to announce that I’ve been asked to join a star-studded panel of bloggers for the launch of Viralogy’s new “Experts” section under personal finance!
I’m really pumped about the other people involved in the project (listed below) and excited about content written by Gen-Y for Gen-Y. Check out the first post of the bunch currently at Viralogy Experts!
If you are a blogger, don’t forget to go to the site and add your blog and social media info.
Here’s some additional information straight from the mouth of Jun Loayza:
We all know the big names in the blogosphere: Seth Godin, Tim Ferriss, Gary Vaynerchuk, and Leo Babauta, just to name a few. They have amazing content, but at times it feels like I can’t relate with them. Though they are in touch with Generation Y, they are not part of it. They’re in a position where they have reached success, and are now teaching us about how we can become successful, which may be the source of the disconnect.
I want to read about people who are in the trenches like me; I want to hear from people who haven’t made it yet, but are doing things the right way and can teach us how they’re doing it every step of the way. I want to hear from the experts in my Generation.
Realizing this, Viralogy decided to create Viralogy Experts – the platform that features Gen Y experts on a specific topic. For our debut, we are featuring four experts in four different categories:
- Adam Baker – Personal Finance
- Cody McKibben – Location Independence
- Steve Spalding – Business and Strategy
- Stuart Foster – Marketing and PR
These bloggers aren’t just giving advice, they’re actually living their advice so you know everything they teach has been tested first hand. Viralogy Experts is the platform for Gen Y, written by Gen Y. Cut through the clutter on the internet and go straight to the blog that gives you concrete, step-by-step, credible advice from peers that you can trust.
About Viralogy: Viralogy.com is the platform that ranks your social media influence. We aggregate your blog, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Stumble, and Digg statistics to generate a social media rank that represents your online influence. Put your personal brand to the test and find out who amongst your peers is most influential!

I’m glad someone else is taking this on. I’ll be 100% debt free in 3 months (a 3 year pursuit) and before that I was debt free for a year. I’m 34 years old now. Since college I was massed marketed to “buy now pay later” and probably had in excess of close to $70,000 in credit card debt since I was 21. This is ______!
I also haven’t used a credit card in about 5 years and will continue to pay cash on things until I no longer live. Being in debt to someone is legalized slavery no matter which was you look at it.
