Yesterday, my first post went live over at Viralogy.com!
The post entitled, Should Retirement Really Be The “End Goal” for Gen-Y, has gotten some great comments and feedback.
It contains my thoughts on how our modern concept of Retirement got started, whether it is still neccesary, and even more importantly whether or not we should even WANT it.

I agree, there are other options . . . for the longest time, I thought “retiring” to a home in the mountains was the “end all, beat all”, but now, re-thinking that idea, I have become more accepting of where I am now (in job, in home (house), in life, etc.) and in accepting those things as they are right now, I have lowered my expectations for the ideal of retirement to what it may really turn out to be, (unsuspecting of) whatever that may be . . .

Great job on this article. While it was all very, very good, there was one phrase in particular that jumps out at me “Start taking steps today that foster the alignment of your work, your passions, and your purpose.” That phrase is awesome, and it is where I am currently at. Making that alignment is crucial for a less stressful and more fulfilling lifestyle.
