Ok, so I can’t really track any of the methods of obtaining Extra-Special, Super-Duper Brownie Points.  It should also be stated that Extra-Special, Super-Duper Brownie Points do not actually get you any extra entries, nor are they redeemable for anything really.  Well… you CAN redeem them at anytime, 24/7,  for a king-sized dose of my appreciation!

Also, if you win and don’t like the book you choose, I offer a unconditional 100% money-back guarantee!

Woo hoo – am I first!? Count me it…oh, and I follow you on twitter and am subscribed! By the way, you can check who subscribes – don’t ask me how, but I know you can…actually, I need to find out myself for some contests I will be holding!

:)

EDIT: Oh, I forgot to tell you which book I’d like…Dave Ramsey’s! My husband and I just jumped on the Dave bandwagon and are “gazelle intense!”

I’m really enjoying your posts and it’s getting me in touch with so many other people who are interested in personal finance. I hope to start my own blog very soon. I’m currently reading the new book by Pamela Yellen, “Bank on Yourself.” She has a rather avante garde take on investing that goes against many of the financial gurus. Anyone hear of it?

Kyle April 19, 2009 at 9:37 AM

Count me in and I want my super duper brownie points for following you on twitter and reading your RSS feed..

Ms. Jones April 19, 2009 at 9:39 AM

Count me in. (You could include some code word in your RSS feed or tweet announcement that people would be required to send you so that you could count their Brownie Points. Hey, I was once a Brownie!

Jacob Duchaine April 19, 2009 at 10:54 AM

Hey,

Seven Stages Of Money Maturity by George Kinder looks really interesting. Here’s my comment, and I am allowed to win prizes. For bonus points I’ve shown my girlfriend a recent article about that beautiful house, followed you on Twitter, and I actually found this article because I’m already subscribed to your RSS.

Are there really places you aren’t allowed to win free prizes?

Trevor @ Financial Nut April 19, 2009 at 11:00 AM

I recently read Dave Ramsey’s book. It was very simple and affirmed many of the choices we’ve made. In light of today’s economy, though, it was hard to know how to take his investment advice. Do you have any information on whether he’s changed his advice or if he still sticks with the recommendation for mutual funds?

You’ve got a nice site. I’m following you on Twitter and would be interested in any of the other books. But regardless — best wishes to whoever wins and I look forward to reading more of your blog.

I am down! I have been wanting to read Dave Ramsey’s book for a while now . Already follow you on twitter and check you regularly. Looking forward to see if I win :)

JoeIngersoll April 19, 2009 at 4:55 PM

If I win, ‘Seven Stages Of Money Maturity’ by George Kinder looks like a good read.

For bonus points, I have referred the members of the Debt Free Dads group over at IndyDads dot com to check out manvsdebt dot com! Trying to persuade Mr. Baker to join us at this month’s gathering : ) Cheers!

What perfect timing – we are in the “ready to begin” phase of becoming debt free. With the many success stories I’ve heard from Dave Ramsey’s followers, I’d have to choose his book should I win. Thanks! :-)

Clair Schwan of Frugal Living Freedom April 20, 2009 at 12:30 AM

I think this is my first e-mail feed, so I’m subscribed and looking to help wage war against debt. Sometimes things are easier to handle if you think of it as war and get serious about it.

If I’m selected as a contest winner, I would like to have Your Money or Your Life. That’s the one I’m interested in. I hear it’s a good read, and besides, I did the eeny, meene, miny, moe thing and that’s the one I landed on.

Wyoming ought to allow its citizens to receive something free of charge. If not, I’ll move. The concern I have is the border guards between here and there – will they let it pass?

I have referred many friends to your blog since I started following you on Twitter just a few weeks ago (you started following me first and I returned the favor after reviewing several of your entries. I sense a kindred spirit.) If I win a book, I will be passing it on to one of my students along with your blog and Twitter information.
