I won’t be posting another post, article, or video on this site until the rough draft of my first guide (the simple finances one) is 100% complete.
That includes finish writing the last 25% and obtain the first copy of the full design.
I’ve been putting it off way too long. I owe to myself and I owe it to those of you that have continued to support me.
I said in my 2010 goals post that it was ‘go time’. Now it’s time for me to put up or shut up.
Hopefully we’ll resume a bigger and badder edition of our regular scheduled programming within a week or so!
Thanks for waiting with me…
Xoxoxo,
-Baker

Sometimes it doesn’t to put everything else on hold to get shit done. I fully support you doing this Baker! No complaints from me.
Total support, my friend.
Just get’er done so you can get back to inspiring your MvD community!
From one of your Canadian readers…
I’m excited to see your simple finances guide. I’ll rummage through your older posts while I wait for it to be released:)
Sometimes a laser focus is the only way to cut through the walls. Way to punch in!
P.S. Anyone know how to get your personal avatar to show up? I’ve got my image loaded in Gravatar, but its not coming up here.
Thanks in advance!
Hi, Ben. Be sure to use the same email address when you comment that you used when you registered for Gravatar. I goofed up on this the first few times – once by using the wrong email address and once by having a typo.
Good luck, mate. Can’t wait to see what the guide looks like.
good luck and good writing. Looking forward to the next article
Best of luck, Baker. I’m more than happy to wait a bit for something awesome.
Within a week or so! That’d be awesome! Talk about putting your mind to the grind! Or something like that.
Looking forward to future reading!
I’m not going anywhere. You do what you’ve gotta do. It’s WAY too easy to get distracted these days, spread too thin over a dozen different projects, getting nothing done. GOOD FOR YOU for being disciplined enough to focus on closing the deal.
Can’t wait to hear how it all turns out! Best of luck!!!

I got a cell phone version of it (Astrid) and I swear to god my productivity has gone through the roof…
Just found your blog…through problogger…I love it!! My hubby and I just read the dave ramesy money makeover book and are look forward to making some major changes in our lives. I look forward to your postings and your guide! Good luck!
Best of luck Baker!!!
Ya better make it quick, I miss your postings. I need my fix here, man.
Careful about not losing blog momentum though. Some readers are fickle. I have taken time off in the past only posting a couple of times a week instead of the usual one per day and both times it took me 3 months to build the steam up to its previous levels.
Waiting as patiently as possible. Must learn to control finances (struggling, straining voiceover). I second the above post, readers can be pretty impatient for new content sometimes. Present company excluded of course.
This is kind of like Parkinsons Law. You set a short deadline so you will complete it definitely. Committing publicly is a great step too. Good luck Baker!
Good luck,
It’s about time!!! We’ll see you back in a few days
Knock it out buddy. I’ll be looking forward to seeing you back.
Good luck in your quest, im a noob just arrived at the worls of bloggers, and i get inspired of all your work.
Best wishes from… Chile!!
all the best Baker! I am venturing out to meet more awesome people and their blogs this year and I have heard a lot of good things on the blog vine about you and yours.
Look forward to hearing more from you.
Jen
