A special thank you to everyone who stopped by to enter into the Book Giveaway this week! For some odd reason, I decided this morning that I was going to venture into the world of video. That means you guys get to watch the winner announced live… Well, sort of live… O.k., a recording as it happened live… You get the point.
Note: Hey, go easy on me… it was my first time tinkering with video! Any of you tech-superior nerds can e-mail me your video making tips, so I can improve. Also, I apologize for the enchanting sound of my voice… I know it’s just so addicting!
Congratulations to Rob Witte who already specified he would like Financial Peace Revisited! Rob, if you will send me your mailing address, I’ll get that sent right out to you (I’ll e-mail you, as well).
For all you losers out there… Don’t you worry! I’m running the contest again this week and have even added a new book to replace that one!
This week’s winner will have their choice of (1) of any of the following four books:
- Your Money Or Your Life by Joe Dominguez & Vicki Robin
- Seven Stages Of Money Maturity by George Kinder
- 48 Days To The Work You Love by Dan Miller
- The Sound Mind Investing Handbook by Austin Pryor
For those of you who are unfamiliar with the new book, I’ll be doing a complete review later this week. The subtitle is “A Step-by-Step Guide To Managing Your Money From A Biblical Perspective.” It’s a thick and comprehensive book, chocked full of great content!
All You Have To Do To Enter Is To Leave A Comment Below!
- Please leave only (1) comment below
- Contest will run for (1) week until May 3rd, 2009 at midnight
- Check back on 5/3 to see if you have won (I will also e-mail)
- Feel free to leave which book you are wanting most in the comments!
- Make sure your state allows you to win free prizes
This Week, I’m DOUBLING The “Extra-Special, Super-Duper Brownie Points” For:
- Subscribing to Man Vs. Debt by RSS Feed or by e-mail in the top right of the page!
- Following Man Vs. Debt on twitter @ManVsDebt!
- Referring a friend to your favorite article on Man Vs. Debt!
That’s right, DOUBLED! It should be noted that they still won’t be worth any extra entries. Actually, they will still only be worth my undying gratitude. But, at least you get double undying gratitude, instead of just one!
So what are you waiting for? Is a chance at a free book worth 10 seconds of your time? Leave a comment below!

Greetings and congratulations to Rob Witte on his win. I’ve already undergone all the extra point special things, even if they don’t really do any good. (I did them before the contest even started)
I still think that the Money Maturity book looks the most appealing if I win this time.
Joe Dominguez & Vicki Robin’s Your Money or Your Life has to be a classic. I’d love to have a copy to read and pass along.
Alright, add me again!

I’ve heard of “Your Money or Your Life”, but haven’t read it. The others I’ve never heard of. I have SOOOOOO much to learn about money and finance and getting out of debt.
Your Money or Your Life sounds like the book that closest identifies with where I am right now… that one, or the Seven Stages!

Hey I certainly could use a free book. I am intersted in them all, but since Dave so highly recommends it, I would have to go with Dan Millers, “48 days to the work you love.”
I already follow you on Twitter (I’m princeOFthrift on twitter).
here’s hoping, I’m the lucky winner.
